The Three Kinds of Treatment Systems We offer:
Drip Irrigation System

This system that relies on advanced treatment and filtration of the treated effluent and features include:
- Time dosed to keep from overloading the disposal area
- Treated effluent is distributed equally over the disposal area
- Uses small tubing at a shallow depth
- A pump and pump chamber is required
- Disposal area is large
Innovative EDS (Effluent Discharge System)

This system that relies on advanced treatment and disinfection of the effluent and features include:
- Treated and disinfected effluent is discharged on the surface of the ground
- A large lot (at least 1 acre) is needed to meet required setbacks
- Some slope is needed to achieve gravity flow of the effluent
- Disposal area is very small

- Installation of New Onsite Wastewater system

- System Maintenance & Monitoring

As a key component to the success of any community program, BBUWP Educational Outreach covers:
- Understanding Wastewater
- The do’s and don’t’s of owning an onsite sewage disposal system
- Wastewater & the Environment
- What are the signs of septic system issues

Program Enrollment
The BBUWP is designed to help low income families afford proper wastewater. Applicants will need:
- Proof of Land Ownership
- Proof of Income
- Valid ID with address on ID
- Past Water Usage Bill
